2. Tailored Applications Make an Impact. Creating a strong resumé, cover letter, and application takes effort. Focus on the positions you really want and put time into tailoring your documents to each opportunity. This makes your application much more competitive. 

3. Employers Notice Your Interest. Employers can tell when an application is generic. If your documents aren’t tailored or if you don’t show much knowledge of the company or role, it’s clear that you’re not fully invested. Employers want to hire people who are genuinely enthusiastic about the role and the organization.
