Connect with employers online

Many employers look at online profiles

Employers often review candidates’ social media profiles during the hiring process, and about one-third have eliminated candidates based on what they found. Managing your online presence is key to making a strong impression.

Manage Your Privacy Settings

Control what potential employers can see. Keep personal content private and ensure your public profiles reflect a professional image. Regularly review your privacy settings to avoid any unintentional exposure that could harm your chances.

Create a Professional Online Profile

Set up and maintain a LinkedIn profile to showcase your experience and build connections in your field. LinkedIn is an essential tool for professional networking and attracting recruiters, so keep it updated and professional.

Be Intentional About What You Post

Think of your social media presence as part of your personal brand. Avoid posting content that could hurt your reputation and ensure your accounts reflect the professional image you want employers to see.
