The YRDSB is the largest employer in York Region and the third largest school district in Ontario, with over 15,000 skilled and dedicated employees. Nine municipalities are served by the York Region District School Board: Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Georgina, King, Markham, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Whitchurch-Stouffville. We have 130,000 students in 180 elementary schools and 33 secondary schools, encompassing nine municipalities.
